WALKERS SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB, 37 Long Ln, Warrington WA2 8PU, UK – 01925 634971
Great local club who make you feel welcome. Lots on and for everyone. A real centre of community.
Tetley ' is a bit like a working man's club, member's bar to the right, with a pool table, a couple of snooker tables, dartboard, a large screen TV. outside are 2 bowling greens. to the left is a lounge bar, and very nice function room, upstairs is a larger function room, with a bar, and toilets,. I had a fancy dress party here for my birthday. Sharon and all the barstaff are very pleased to welcome everyone

Alder Root Ln, Winwick, Warrington WA2 8RZ, UK – 01925 291919
I love this course. Think I'll stay a member until I'm dead that's how much I enjoy playing at Alder Root. Highly recommended to my customers and friends. Huge value for money in Warrington for Golf. This course is actually one of those places many people don't know about until they get taken by a friend. With the 25 year anniversary this coming May 2018 it's sure to be a very exciting year. Refurbished club house has brought much needed life back into the building. With course work improving week on week it's soon to be at a much higher level for amateur golfers.
A.R.G.C, is a municipal golf course of the highest quality. It's 10 holes of very differing tests. The hole which acts as the 5th & 14th, is a toughy. 190 yard tree lined, tee shot with a fairway bunker to boot. Then it's over a tree to the island green. Fantastic golf hole. A hole only for the brave.
Crab Ln, Cinnamon Brow, Warrington WA2 0SH, UK – 01925 825220
My friends Freddy, Alex, Phil Archer (PGA Pro) are brilliant. I get a real buzz when I have a lesson from Phil and his lessons really help my game. Funny how I got into golf. Phil and I met on a plane coming back from Dublin Oct 2015. I didn't think Phil would call me for IT support but he did and we have never looked back. Brilliant 5 hole course and I take some of my customers from time to time. I also support Poulton for IT services.
Great golf club with friendly unpretentious people. Highly recommended.
Cross Ln, Croft, Warrington WA3 7AW, UK – 01925 763741
Great little driving range round the corner from my local course. Cheaper than some in the area - £3 for 50 balls, £5 fo 100 balls, and do a card for regular users. Bear in mind this is all cash only. Flood lit in evenings, distance targets to aim for, little shop with snacks and toilets. Lessons also available here from some local pros - I recommend Anthony.
Firstly I'd like to say the best golf club Alder Root is advertised at this driving range. I do manage the social media for Alder Root so I am obviously going to shout about it. Value for money this driving drive so I'll definitely favour this one over TFG at the back of Sankey. Noticed Harvey Livett from Warrington Wolves next to my bay today but I was leaving as he was starting so he didn't get chance to see my amazing ball striking skills. Keep up the good work. If you ever need a push on social networking just drop me a message.
52 Grange Ave, Warrington WA4 1QH, UK – 01925 634045
Good size building with lots of seperated areas. Well equipped, pool, snooker, bowling greens, 5-a-side and 11-a-side football pitches and cricket in the summer. Big TVs in the main lounge for sport events. Prices average and no guest beers. Staff friendly.
Good sports and social centre
Alford Hall/Manchester Rd, Warrington WA1 3NJ, UK – 01925 497749
We visit Alford hall regularly, as there are various activities going on, on a daily basis. Anything from American square dancing to karaoke to weight watchers and slimming world meetings and giving blood!! Last visit was on new year's eve, to the celebrations in the ballroom upstairs with a live band plus disco. We had a great night. We would recommend visiting the club to have a look at everything on offer, see if there's something you fancy trying. You won't regret it....
4th Saturday of the month guest DJ great music and atmosphere a visit not to be missed
