Gulliver's World Theme Park

Shackleton Cl, Warrington WA5 9YZ, UK – 01925 444888

We LOVE Gulliver's!! I have 3 children and we go back several times a year, both to the park and the splash zone, and my kids never tire of it! There's something for everyone and there's plenty to fill your day. We went during the school holidays and although it was quite busy, we didn't have to queue for more than 10mins for any ride except for The Antelope (which is to be expected since it's one of the bigger rides) and we had a brill day. The play areas are fantastic too, well kept, clean and sturdy equipment. There are also tons of picnic tables to save you sitting on the ground to eat your butties! We'll definitely be going back again and again each year!! Thank you Gulliver's

Brilliant place for younger children. Some new rides being brought in to the park. Lovely staff members all throughout the park. Many people saying park is requiring a lick of paint but children more interested in the ride experience. Brilliant indoor theatre near to the main entrance, needs more advertising around park because I would definitely recommend it for 30 minutes.

Manchester Ship Canal

Manchester Ship Canal

Man ship cruise on the famous Royal Iris. Coach to vessel, cruise and coach back. Went from Salford end. Very pleasant and informative too. Good to see the landmarks and swing bridges and to see where the canal runs exactly. Will take own food and drink next time as prices quite fear aboard the ferry. Glad we did this after so many years of saying we would.

Water ..fish...ducks ..and odd ship ...does exactly what it says on the tin !!. Lovely collection of dog turds along footpath . Was lucky enough to see a retro white turd only last week .... If there had been yellow privits near by it would have been an almost perfect day

Local Parks & Gardens

Woolston Park

Somerset Way, Warrington WA1 4LN, UK – 01925 443322

Really lovely park and even better now they have cut down some of the trees. Great for dog walkers and people with kids

Great for walking with dogs etc lovely in winter too when it snows

Bruche Park

20 Derby Dr, Warrington WA1 3BZ, UK

Nice clean local park where my partner's nephew enjoyed all the rides. It's gated too so you don't have to worry about any kids trying to escape to the nearby road or any rogue dogs entering etc. Nice and coulourful play area with a good selection of rides for them to enjoy. There is also a pathway around the perimeter of the areas for walking your dog with numerous bins to dispose of their waste.

Great little park. Something for all the kids

Peel Hall Park

Blackbrook Ave, Warrington WA2 0RP, UK – 01925 443322

Not often kept on top of by WBC but a lovely area for a quiet walk and nice that they have kept the original stone features. Great place to go blackberry and elderberry picking with young children.... Just remember to put your wellies on as the area around it can get very muddy

Have always loved the place. From being a kid in the 70s and 80s playing in the hills and swinging from the rope swing in the woods. Now i take the dog and my family on here for a great few hours. We need to save the place. Some of the paths and fences could do with renewing but its lovely n wild and enjoyable.
